On Saturday night, the new EA Sports Bar opened at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas just in time for guests to take in the NCAA Tournament Finals. Eater Vegas got a look inside the new digs that combine the thrill of live sports on television in a homey environment with oodles of video games complements of EA Sports.

Nine living room-style areas give the bar a homelike feel with hand-tanned Italian leather sofas and chairs and vintage media trunks. Guests can play Sony PlayStation 3 games from a battalion of games such as Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, Madden NFL 12 and FIFA 12. For those who prefer old school games, a 1930s era foosball table is available.

The bar, formerly a pop-up wedding chapel and before that a home goods store, overlooks the Vegas Strip.

The 2,500-square-foot venue is open Sundays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to midnight and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.?
