Celebrity chef Michael Mina plans to be in the kitchen of two of his five Vegas restos in two weeks.
First on tap, Seablue at the MGM Grand, where Mina plans to do a meet and greet event with guests for $100 each from 6 to 8 p.m. April 18. The event features live action stations, passed canapés, wines and more. Mina will be on hand to sign copies of his cookbook, Michael Mina: The Cookbook, which will also be on sale there.
Next, Mina helms the kitchen April 19 at Nobhill Tavern at the MGM Grand. Again Mina will be signing his cookbooks that will be for sale as well as greeting guests and posing for photo ops.

Next month, Mina expands his restaurant empire when his Japanese concept Pabu opens at the Four Seasons in Baltimore. Japanese chef Ken Tominaga, who has Hana Japanese Restaurant in San Francisco, is his partner in the venture.
