One of the newest events at Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit — a Celebrity Chef Poker Tournament. Now Eater Vegas has the celeb chef lineup.
Bruce Bromberg from Blue Ribbon Sushi, Scott Conant from Scarpetta and D.O.C.G., José Andrés from China Poblano and Jaleo, Stephen Hopcraft from STK, David Myers from Comme Ça and Anthony Meidenbauer from Holstein’s Shakes and Buns at Cosmopolitan, Jason Smith from the Bellagio and Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger from Border Grill at Mandalay Bay plan to throw down chips.
The tournament starts at 10:30 p.m. May 11 at the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a first-year resort partner at the epicurean festival.
Tournament prizes consist of a first prize of $2,500, a second prize of $1,500 and a third prize of $1,000. All prize winnings will be donated to Communities In Schools, a dropout prevention organization, and Vegas Roots Community Gardens, a Las Vegas public garden that creates social change through agriculture.
DJ Who and Paulo spin, and guest won’t go hungry. STK and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill serve up the food, while Comme Ça features specialty cocktails from David Myers’ 18A cocktail program.
Peeps who want to belly up to the table can grab tix for $200 per person or watch for $85 per person. For tix, visit www.vegasuncorked.com.
