SPRINGS PRESERVE — The Brews & Blues Festival gets kicking on Saturday, June 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. with (nearly) bottomless suds from such brewers as New Belgium, North Coast, Anchor, Firestone Walker, Pyramid, Full Sail, Wasatch and Squatters, Maui and Coronado — and brews from local Vegas hopheads including Big Dog's, Joseph James, Chicago and Tenaya Creek. Music includes blues-inspired groups such as Ronnie Baker Brooks, Scott Rhiner and the Moanin' Blacksnakes, The Lucky Cheats and the Chris Bell Band.
