EL CORTEZ — Late-night dining just got a little more interesting Downtown now that The Parlour has a new menu and seasonal cocktails from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nosh on pulled pork or barbecue sliders, the Parlour melt, grilled shrimp, artichoke spinach dip, fish tacos, lollipop wings or steak fries while sipping cocktails such as the acai caipirinha, hibiscus margarita or the South Side with Plymouth gin, mint, Elixir lavender syrup, lime juice and club soda. LAS VEGAS — Marie Callender’s has a new lineup of dishes under 600 calories. The hearts of romaine with roasted vegetables clocks in at 330 calories, the fresh avocado and shrimp stack comes in at 550 calories and the rosemary chicken with spring salad has 560 calories. HENDERSON — The 2012 Annual Brewfest at Barley’s Casino & Brewing Co. kicks off from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 26. More than a dozen breweries will have beer tastings, including varieties made by Barley’s Brew Master Bubba such as Red Rock German-style lager, Blue Diamond Helles-style lager and Boulder Gold Hefeweizen. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Beer 4 Boobs, an organization that provides funding to fight breast cancer and help those living with the illness. Tickets are $25 pre-sale, $30 at the event. Smoked barbecue is $5 per item. [EaterWire]
