Las Vegas has its share of celebrity chefs, but rarely does one come along with the star wattage of Gordon Ramsay. More than three weeks ago, Gordon Ramsay Steak opened at Paris Las Vegas, and then came the big kaboom, when Ramsay himself came for the grand opening of his first steakhouse on May 11. The Michelin-starred chef from Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares worked the room that night, greeting guests, taking photos and finding time to help out in the kitchen.

Now, here’s a look inside the 7,500-square-foot restaurant that features an open kitchen, serpentine booths, a second floor with three private dining rooms and a Union Jack flying overhead with a red neon sculpture modeled after his cooking gestures in the kitchen.

Two staircases lead upstairs, giving diners a stunning view of the restaurant and bar area. All together, the restaurant seats 200.

Already the staff reports that conventions have tried to book the entire restaurant for the night, but GRS is trying to keep the restaurant open for fans. So far, the beef Wellington and 8-ounce Prime filet have been best sellers.
