PALAZZO — Nearly 75 restaurants lined up around the pools at the Palazzo last Thursday night for the Epicurean Affair, a shindig put on by the Nevada Restaurant Association. Almost 1,800 guests sampled dishes from restaurants such as Aquaknox, Lagasse’s Stadium, The Capital Grille, Bouchon and STK at the sold-out event. [EaterWire]
FASHION SHOW — Nab loco hour specials all day at El Segundo Sol when the restaurant holds its monthly Cinco de Mayo bash on June 1. Deals include the Prickly Pear Margarita and tallboy cans of beer for $4.25. Atomic cheese nachos go for $2.75 and slow-braised boneless short rib beef quesadillas are $5. Even Cazadores tequila shots go for $3. [EaterWire]
MANDALAY BAY — Fleur has a new chef. Apparently Ryan Primo Nuqui took over the kitchen there. He most recently served as executive sous chef at Yellowtail Restaurant & Lounge at the Bellagio, and he’s worked at Shibuya at the MGM Grand, the former Fleur de Lys and Postrio at the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.
