Sad news out of New York this morning. Word from Eater New York is that L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at the Four Seasons Hotel is closing June 30 as Eater Vegas rumored earlier this month.
Joël Robuchon has his eponymous restaurant at the MGM Grand along with the original U.S. version of L’Atelier next door there. In April, Robuchon, who was once called the "Chef of the Century" by Gault Millau, visited his two restaurants in Las Vegas.
In March, Franck Savoy, son of Guy, left Caesars Palace to become director of food and beverage at the Four Seasons New York.
Eater New York has a look back at the brief history of the two Michelin star restaurant that opened in 2006.
