Well, well, well. On the heals of the Electric Daisy Carnival comes news that the nightlife venues at Wynn Las Vegas are partnering with Ultra Music to release full-length electronic dance music CDs under the new Ultra/Wynn label.
That means the sounds of Afrojack, Avicii, Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Lil Jon and Steve Aoki found at Encore Beach Club this summer will be out this month, bringing the dance beats home. A second CD featuring the sounds of XS Nightclub is set to debut Sept. 1. Surrender Nightclub and Tryst Nightclub will surely have their own CDs in due time.
The collaboration promises to pair superstar collaborations with the sounds of new DJs and producers from Vegas. Nick Hissom, anyone? Look for videos on Ultra’s YouTube channel as well as live streaming of Wynn DJ sets. A weekly segment dubbed The Wynn Nightlife Report will offer up interviews and insider looks at the DJ sets at the resort.
For the record, Ultra Music is unrelated to the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
