It's a Pie in the Face for Steve Wynn

Consider this a way for Steve Wynn to get a pie in his face. The known vegan and business magnate behind Wynn Las Vegas plopped down $15 million for a 43 percent stake in Pie Face USA, a Brooklyn-based subsidiary of Pie Face Holdings Pty Ltd. of Sydney, Australia.

The tasty chain has handmade meat pot pies dolled out in a cute facial expression atop each pastry. The restaurant also goes all in with a cornucopia of savories such as sweet pies, sausage rolls, sandwiches, wraps, soups, mashed potatoes and gravy, quiche and baked goods.

Based out of New York, the company has plans to expand nationwide. So could the chain take over the Switch space that will open up in July? Vegas Inc reports that a “Pie Face spokeswoman said it’s not known if or when Pie Face will expand to Las Vegas. U.S. expansion locations have not been selected, she said.”
