Two weeks ago, Eater Vegas put its first restaurant on Deathwatch. Word on the demise of Switch at Encore Las Vegas pegged the waning days of the restaurant to end by Labor Day weekend.
Now comes word that Switch will be closing effective July 23, with the last dinner in the ever-changing landscape there on July 22. So far, there’s no announcement on what will take over the space, but the folks at Wynn are hoping for a December opening.
Earlier this year Switch was pegged to become a Latin concept with Michael Morton, the former head honcho of the N9NE Group, leading the charge. Just yesterday, Robin Leach teased that Morton plans to announce two new concepts, one on the Strip and one Downtown. Related? Morton already has La Cave at Wynn Las Vegas
