Guide: Where to Dine for Father’s Day in Vegas

Lots of places are offering special brunches just for dad, while others will have celebratory menus available all day. Whether you're looking for brunch, lunch or dinner, it's not too late to make plans and remind Dad that he's the man.

1) LBS Burger Joint
Where: Red Rock Resort
What: Dads pick up $3 domestic draft beers all day along with the Steakhouse Burger with a black pepper-crusted beef patty with rich Swiss cheese, onion marmalade, mixed greens, roasted tomatoes and mushrooms then drizzled with a creamy Horseradish sauce with a real kick, priced at $13.50.

2) Tacos & Tequila
Where: Luxor
What: Dads land a special three-course brunch menu that includes Albondigas soup, chopped salad or Caesar salad; a chorizo-potato relleno with a spicy salsa verde sauce and two eggs any style or carne asada steak with home fries and two eggs any style. For dessert, a chocolate quesadilla stuffed with nutella, sliced bananas and candied nuts. An authentic Mariachi band will perform for dads throughout the restaurant.

3) Public House

What: Celebrate Father’s Day with a prix fixe menu and beer pairing priced at $48 per person and half-priced ”Drafts for Dads.” Start with a Scotch egg made with barley wine sausage topped with bacon-mustard sauce paired with a Firestone Double Barrel Ale. Next, short ribs made with sweet peat potato puree and IPA battered onion rings paired with a smooth Deschutes Black Butte Porter. For the final course, the Chocolate Stout Layer Cake made with malted milk ice cream and caramelized bacon rice crispies and paired with Big Dog’s Tyrone! My Man! Black IPA.

4) Rice & Company

What: Rice & Company’s chef Danny Chen created the “Big Daddy” roll made with shrimp tempura, shiso and kaiware, wrapped with Wagyu beef, avocado, jalapeño and tobiko priced at $18.

5) Tender Steak & Seafood
Where: Luxor
What: Order a three course prix fixe menu priced at $55 per person. For starters, guests will have a choice of Caesar salad made with garlic anchovy dressing, American Kobe chili with Kobe beef, smoked bacon, sour cream and chives or the Maine lobster bisque soup. For the main course, fathers can get either a 10 ounce range-fed New Zealand beef ribeye served with roasted exotic mushrooms in caramelized onion ragout; pan-roasted Skuna Bay salmon made with organic farro pilaf and Mediterranean succotash; or barbecue braised Wagyu Kobe boneless short ribs served with a dark ale barbecue sauce and creamed sweet white corn. Dessert selections include the chocolate decadent cake layered with chocolate fudge ganache and vanilla bean gelato or Tahitian vanilla crème brulee served with a shortbread cookie and huckleberry compote.

6) Comme Ça

What: Order a prix-fixe menu that includes roasted bone marrow and oxtail jam, oysters Rockefeller, wood-fire grilled steamship of Prime beef, hand cut pasta with slow-cooked meat ragout and mimolette cheese, roasted cauliflower and Boudin Noir gratin and Comme Ça’s opera cake. Prices start at $65 per person or $85 with a beer pairing.

7) Trevi

What: Order an Italian prix fixe menu and a specialty cocktail this Father’s Day. The meal includes Italian meatballs served with marinara sauce, a 14-ounce ribeye steak served with a side of linguine marinara and topped with a pizzaiola sauce and tiramisu for $49.95. Trevi also has the Knob Creek Manhattan for $12.
