Whether by the sheer number of demerits or the imminent health threat, Kimchi Korean BBQ at just north of Wynn Las Vegas was going to be shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District.

Inspectors found 53 demerits, plus an immediate closure for an imminent health hazard, when they visited on June 6. Juggling knives? Russian roulette? No explanation was given by the SNHD for the reason for the imminent health hazard.

They did find employees weren’t washing their hands, spoiled food, commercially manufactured foods lacking proper labels and more.

SNHD routinely shuts down restaurant that rack up more than 40 demerits.
