Looks like Steve Davidovici is getting set to open Meatball Spot at Town Square. He’s taking over the former Nu Sanctuary space near Rave Motion Pictures.
Davidovici, the former partner in Pure Management Group, was caught up in the Internal Revenue Service investigation of the nightclub that lead to him pleading guilty to a single count of filing a false 2006 tax return. He agreed to a plea where he admitted under-reporting his income for 2006 by $141,306. And that plea deal will land him 12 to 18 months in prison, but helps him avoid further charges from 2004 to 2010. His sentencing is scheduled for June 27.
Stevie D as he is known already has four outlets of Sugar Factory up and down the Strip, as well as Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas. [EaterWire]
