Now the first of the many changes is coming into play at the Palms. Earlier this month, the resort announced a $50 million renovation that includes two new food outlets in addition to Garduños going by the wayside to make way for the new sports-themed bar Heraea from The ONE Group.
The first of those renovations is about to be unveiled. Earl of Sandwich plans to open July 2 in The Eatery, the new name for the food court at the Palms. Look for 13 hot, hot, hot sandwiches including the Original 1762, named for John Montagu, the fourth Earl of Sandwich, who came up with the idea of putting meat between two slices of bread.
The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Earl of Sandwich also offers a full line of tossed salads, made-to-order wraps, soups, desserts, Kona coffee and a selection of beer and wine. The location will offer a breakfast menu serving eight made-to-order hot breakfast sandwiches from 7 to 11 a.m. Monday to Friday and 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The Palms location is one of four new spots nationwide for the sandwich shop and the second in Vegas.
Other coming changes at the Palms include more dishes at Bistro Buffet gets more foods and Chronic Taco, also opening at The Eatery.
