Rockhouse Finds a New Home Soon at the Venetian

Behold, the future home of Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub. Back in May, the rocking bar was shut down at Imperial Palace to make way for the massive Linq, the new entertainment and ferris wheel extravaganza being built there.

Earlier this month, it moved into a temporary home dubbed Rock Bar in front of PBR Rock Bar & Grill at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort. There it has a deejay playing rock music, and most importantly beer pong

Now comes word that the party bar plans to move into the Venetian, just across from First Food & Bar.

Could that mean more foot traffic for both venues? Both sit down a corridor that was planned to lead to the St. Regis, a 398 luxury condo tower at the front of the property. In 2008, construction halted on the luxury tower, which planned to open in March 2010.

Just this week, obnoxious new doors were installed in the corridor, separating it from potential mall traffic from Barneys New York, the Shoppes at the Palazzo and the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian.
