When the Heck Is Javier’s Opening at Aria?

No news has come out of Javier’s, the Mexican restaurant planning to take over the Union Restaurant space at Aria. Originally the restaurant planned to open in May, but the space is still enclosed in plywood taunting that it’s coming soon. Even the Aria website still says coming soon, although the Javier’s website says it’s opening in August.

But lookey here. A blackjack table on the Aria casino floor touts a fall opening.

Behind the walls, the melodic sounds of hammers, nail guns and the like can be heard.

Javier’s claims to have the largest selection of premium tequilas in Orange County. Look for regionally influenced home-style Mexican cooking.
