Pair Wine with Chocolate or Art; Oscar's Happy Hour

PARIS LAS VEGAS — The Chocolate Lounge & Wine Bar inside Sugar Factory American Brasserie plans to continue its chocolate and wine pairings through the end of summer. Five pairing options are available, including the $8 Taste with one pour of a guest’s choice of wine with one signature chocolate selection and the Grand Tour with all six featured wine pours paired with six signature chocolate selections. BELLAGIO — Pair up fine wines with works of art at Art & Wine: A Perfect Pairing at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art on Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. The event pairs wines from Bellagio’s cellar with artwork featured in the gallery’s exhibition Claude Monet: Impressions of Light. Jason Smith, Bellagio’s director of wine and master sommelier, and Tarissa Tiberti, director of the art gallery, share their knowledge. Jasmine Hirsch and a selection of wines from Hirsch Vineyards will be featured.

THE PLAZA — Oscar’s Steakhouse now has a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. every day in the lounge and bar area. Specialty cocktails, well drinks and a wide selection of beer and wine will be half-priced during happy hour. [EaterWire]
