ENCORE LAS VEGAS — He hosts “I Need R3hab” weekly on Sirius XS and the so dubbed Dutch DJ and Afrojack protégé will be kicking off the weekend at XS Nightclub on Friday. The party keeps on bouncing on Saturday with Calvin Harris and Monday sees original Swedish House Mafia member Eric Prydz make a rare U.S. appearance at the club (the legend famously left the über group due to a reported fear of flying and is in the midst of an American bus tour). Before his set however, expect some Eric Prydz-inspired Ibiza sounds as he plays host at Botero Supper Club. The idea is to transport guests to the party island’s Café Mambo. A word to the wise — get there early as Prydz’s U.S. shows have sold out everywhere. Over at Surrender Nightclub, expect some “Turbulence” on Saturday as Lil Jon and Hard Rock Sofa do their thing. THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — Some big names are slated to play Marquee Nightclub this weekend. Saturday sees German electrohouse guy Zedd at the day club. He’s expected to drop his mega remix of Skrillex of Scary Spirits and Nice Sprites and some of his Gaga and Black Eyed Peas mash ups. That night look for Sander van Doorn to ask if “Love is Darkness” at the nightclub. Things close out on Monday evening with back-to-back sets by trance vet ATB and white hot 19-year-old Arty (“The Slide,” “Together We Are” and “When I See You”). [EaterWire]
VENETIAN — Tao’s lineup is to Marquee’s. Look for ATB to play the nightclub on Friday and Mr. van Doorn will be on decks at the beach club Sunday afternoon. [EaterWire]
PALMS — Grammy-nominated DJ Jazzy Jeff gets the party started at Ditch Fridays and continues the festivities at Rain Nightclub that night. Dev will take the “Bass Down Low” as she dances In the dark in broad daylight at the Palms Pool & Bungalows on Saturday. [EaterWire]
ARIA — R&B singer Omarion will break off hits like “Entourage” and “Ice Box” at Haze Nightclub on Friday evening. [EaterWire]
HARD ROCK HOTEL — English legend Paul Oakenfold is set to debut his forthcoming album Pop Killer early next year, but first he’ll serve as master of ceremonies at this week’s Nectar Music Festival on Saturday at the Paradise Pool. [EaterWire]
