Construction on the $17 million Bacchanal Buffet is well under way with an anticipated Sept. 10 opening at Caesars Palace. Here, take a look at how the interior of the massive space is coming together. To the right the pastry display, where more than 115 different dishes will be ready to eat.
In the right photo, the first look at a wall made of varying colored glass blocks, each about two-inches square. To the left, the dessert section.
Bacchanal takes over the former Lago Buffet space that shuttered in January. The new 25,000-square-foot Roman feast of a buffet plans to feature more than 500 items from nine open kitchens with room for 600 guests to dine.
