Two Spots Shut Down by the Health District

New, 1 comment

Two Las Vegas food and beverage establishments felt the wrath of the Southern Nevada Health District last week when they found themselves shut down after routine inspections.

The Broadway Main Bar at New York-New York was shut down for an imminent health hazard when inspectors found no potable water at the location on Aug. 7. Inspectors discovered 11 demerits including no hot and cold running water and operating outside the parameters of a health permit.

Also shuttered, Wok My World at 2775 S. Nellis Blvd. with 39 demerits on Aug. 9. Foods were not cooled properly and not stored at the proper temperature. The restaurant was last inspected Jan. 27 with three demerits and an A grade.
