PALMS — For the first time ever, N9NE Steakhouse is offering a prix fixe menu from 5 to 7 p.m. with bottomless wine pairings. Chef Barry Dakake starts with a chef’s gift, an amuse bouche of the day. Then he serves the onion soup and garbage salad, followed by either Alaskan halibut or Atlantic salmon served with grilled artichokes, baby heirloom carrots, Texas sweet onions and Romesco sauce. Then comes a choice of organic fire chicken with shaved lemon, jalapeños and rosemary jus or the Prime ribeye steak with creamy horseradish, au poivre and bernaise. Each comes with green beans and parmesan mashed potatoes. For dessert, choose between the strawberry shortcake and the chocolate banana cream pie. The cost is $65 per person. [EaterWire]
MIRACLE MILE SHOPS — PBR Rock Bar celebrates its two-year anniversary Sept. 6 with drink specials and a discount for locals. Patrons with a local ID can grab 20 percent off their bill throughout the day. [EaterWire]
