The Back of the House Brawl Pits Chris vs. Chris

The Back of the House Brawl gets back at it this Saturday night with a battle of Chris vs. Chris in a sommelier edition.

Chef Chris Conlon from Fix Restaurant & Lounge at the Bellagio takes on chef Chris Starkus from RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay at Tommy Rocker’s. This Iron Chef-type brawl will feature foods paired with wines from David Arthur Vineyards.

Conlon already won the BOH Brawl when he defeated chef Pat Hodge of N9NE Steakhouse at the Palms earlier this year.

Each chef gets a team of three, with one member a sommelier who can help guide the pairing. Both will sell dishes from the food trucks from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. that pair with David Arthur Vineyards, who will be pouring at the event as well. Money raised benefits Three Square Food Bank.

Conlon plans to cook on the Redneck Kitchen food truck, while Starkus will be dishing from Lola’s D’s Kitchen. Coast 2 Coast Deli and Haulin Balls will also be at the event. The Saturday Night Truck Stop, where the food trucks serve up their fares, starts at 8 p.m.
