PARIS LAS VEGAS — Learn how to cook up some French fare this Saturday during a cooking class at Mon Ami Gabi. From 10 a.m. to noon, executive chef Terry Lynch shows guests how to cook gazpacho, seared salmon with leek quinoa and citron butter and warm berry crumble. Each dish is paired with wines. COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS — David Myers rolled out a new menu at Comme Ça for lunch and dinner. Some of the highlights include a Croque Madame with honey baked ham, gruyère cheese and Mornay sauce; oven-roasted tomato tartine with goat cheese and arugula; and classic French toast with noble handcrafted maple syrup, pistachio-honey butter and seasonal berries. The new Quick Lunch lets diners choose an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $17.50. New additions to the dinner menu include chilled lobster in a harissa aioli; salmon tartare with pastrami spiced crème fraîche; a 20-ounce pepper-crusted ribeye with confit garlic and CC1 house made steak sauce; and rainbow trout with haricot verts, almonds and lemon brown butter. New desserts include the Paris Brest with hazelnut buttercream and toasted almond; blueberry verbena pie with mascarpone ice cream and almond streusel; and caramel mousse with fleur de sel, cocoa nib crumble and chocolate ice cream.
