Lucille's Plans to Smoke Out Red Rock Next Summer

Mexican’s out and barbecue is back in at Red Rock Resort. Come next summer, Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que will have a new home there, taking over the Cabo Mexican Restaurant space. Cabo shuttered last week to make way for the barbecue restaurant’construction.

Red Rock marks the second location for the Southern-style barbecue joint, which already has a spot at The District in Henderson that opened there in 2004.

Some of the restaurant’s dishes include baby back ribs, smoked barbecue chicken, Texas-style beef brisket, barbecue tri tip, pan-blackened catfish, barbecue shrimp, jambalaya, smoked salmon, Southern fried chicken and New Orleans gumbo to name a few.

Red Rock had Salt Lick BBQ, which closed in 2009 to make way for Yard House.
