The Act is on schedule to open a performance-based nightclub at the Shoppes at the Palazzo in October. Simon Hammerstein, the nightclub operator behind The Box in New York City and London, is behind the club, which plans to have two stages, nightly rituals and audience involvement in the saucy numbers.

The 12,000-square-foot venue on the third floor of the Shoppes at the Palazzo above the waterfall in the Atrium at the Palazzo will have 40 tables and four bars, character performances, vignettes and interactive theater.

Based on The Box’s reputation, expect to find vaudeville-type acts with touch of naughty. The space, nearly two-and-a-half times as big as the New York locale, plans to be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.
