Shocker. The 75,000-square-foot pool complex and restaurant Bagatelle Beach & Nightclub says the project at the Tropicana Las Vegas “won’t be completed for about two months,” and that’s an optimistic deadline.
“This project grew and it became a lot more than we originally anticipated,” Jonathan Segal, the CEO of the One Group, tells the Sun.
The blame? “A sluggish permit-approval process to finish the kitchen at Bagatelle Bistro Supper Club, which is being built into the circular structure.”
As a refresher, Bagatelle originally planned to open Memorial Day weekend. Then mid-June. Then Aug. 1. Then mid-August. Then September. Now mid-October. Maybe.
The One Group, which already has STK at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, is also racing to build Heraea, a sports-themed restaurant at the Palms. That takes the place of Garduno’s, which is still open.
