Las Vegas is home to many new restaurants, and some of the smaller ones that open with less than a shebang go unnoticed. Here's a look at six of the new smaller restaurants that opened in the two weeks all over the Las Vegas Valley.
1. Yafo Kosher Restaurant
Location: 3049 Las Vegas Blvd. S.
This newbie on the Strip features Mediterranean and Italian fare with some pizza thrown in for good measure.

2. 808 Tapas East-West Infusion
Location: 9350 W. Sahara Ave.
A mix of Asian, Mexican, Italian and Hawaiian come together at this new restaurant in Village Square. Look for dishes such as the crab stack topped with red caviar, salmon or hamachi Tensai shooters and the Lomi salmon Buffalo Caprese, an interesting take on the Caprese salad.
