Construction is humming along at Eat, Natalie Young's much-anticipated breakfast and lunch spot coming to Downtown Las Vegas. The restaurant opening next month plans to serve "soulful" New American fare in an unpretentious, unconventional atmosphere, seven days a week.

Inside the restaurant on the first floor of an apartment building features 36 chairs made from recycled soda bottles and artwork from Krystal Ramirez on the walls.

Look for a group of diverse peeps working the room, especially animal lovers and offbeat individuals.

Young anticipates a September opening.
