My favorite FOH person in Las Vegas works in one of the coolest positions I've ever seen. R.J. Panganiban is the VIBE host at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip.
Every day, he controls the atmosphere at the cafe and provides personalized tours of the venue's extensive memorabilia collection. It takes only a few minutes with R.J. to realize that his knowledge of rock 'n' roll exceeds that of most mere mortals. He brings the guitars and records on the wall to life with every story. There isn't a band that he can't talk about!
If you request an AC/DC video, he'll queue up "Thunderstruck" and then ask you if you've heard about Airborne, a killer young band that was raised on AC/DC's big riffs. You'll have a list of new bands to check out before lunch is done!
Spending an hour with RJ makes every visit to the Hard Rock Cafe an amazing experience.
