Vegas Chefs Roll Over to LA Food & Wine

Before Vegas gets a dose of some Gail Simmons-infused Food and Wine greatness in October, some major Vegas players will be represented at the LA Food & Wine Fest Aug. 9-12. Notables include the following:

Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys) — Joins Joachim Splichal for lunch at Patina on Friday and proffers bite at the Lexus Live event on Friday.

Anthony Meidenbauer (Holstein’s Shakes and Buns) — The spiked shakes and buns guru will be on hand at Saturday’s Grand Tasting.

David Myers (Comme Ça) — Kicking it with Eater LA’s Kat Odell, who’s hosting Friday’s Asian Night Market.

Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger (Border Grill) — Serve lunch at Street on Friday and bites at Saturday’s Grand Tasting.

Scott Conant (Scarpetta, D.O.C.G. Enoteca) — Participating in Giada’s Festa Italiana Dinner on Thursday, hosting a luncheon at Scarpetta Beverly Hills on Friday as well as taking part in the swanky delicacy dinner that night.

Stephen Hopcraft (STK) — Reps the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas at Sunday’s Grand Tasting.

Michael Mina (Michael Mina, American Fish, Nob Hill, StripSteak) — Part of MGM Resort’s pantheon and will be present at Lexus Live on Saturday.

Luciano Pellegrini (Valentino) — Joining Conant at Giada’s Festa and also plating at the Lexus Live event.

Francois Payard (Payard Patisserie & Bistro) — Repping Caesar Palace’s at Lexus Live and Sunday’s Grand Tasting.

Wolfgang Puck (Spago, Cut) — Offering Dinner Under The Stars on Friday and doing a cooking demo before participating in Lexus Live on Saturday.

Kerry Simon (Simon, KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers) — He will be in the house for lunch at LA Market on Friday and the Grand Tasting on Saturday.

Joachim Splichal (Pinot Brasserie) — Patina’s big boss will be hosting an epic lunch at? wait for it — Patina before serving at Saturday’s Grand Tasting.

Jet Tila (Ex-Wazuzu Drunken Noodle Champ and current owner of LA’s The Charleston) — Also hanging with Ms. Odell at the Asian Night Market.
