Las Vegas is home to many new restaurants, and some of the smaller ones that open with less than a shebang go unnoticed. Here's a look at three of the new smaller restaurants that opened in the two weeks all over the Las Vegas Valley.

1. Sweet Addiction, Cookies & Ice Cream
Where: 5165 S. Fort Apache Road
What: A new ice cream shop serving up Thrifty’s brand, a Southern California favorite, has become a big hit in Spring Valley. Pick out cookies such as chocolate chip, chocolate brownie, M & Ms, peanut butter, snickerdoodle and mint chocolate to sandwich ice cream between for a summer cool off.

2. Sabatino's
Where:
7660 W. Cheyenne Ave.
What: A new pizza-by-the-slice joint takes over the former Aurelio's in this food court that includes the Cracked Egg, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Winchells Donuts and Subway. The owners of Rocco’s New York Pizza are behind this spot that offers Italian fare in addition to pizza.

3. Buldogis Eatery
Where: Inside MVP Sports Lounge, 6120 W. Tropicana Ave.
What: Korean hot dogs now have a second home inside MVP Sports Lounge. Look for fusion dogs made with spicy pork and Asian slaw with diced jalapeños and fiery mayo, Banh Mi dogs with pork belly, slaw, herbs and sriracha mayo or classics that hit closer to a traditional American dog made with chili cheese or sauerkraut and pastrami.
