Frankie Moreno Croons His Way to a Late-Night Spot

Crooner Frankie Moreno says he’s getting into the restaurant business. The singer who has a show at the Stratosphere tells the talk radio show On Air with Robert & CC that he’s opening a late-night restaurant he dubs an old school celebrity hang.

So far, it just has a working name, Frankie’s Italian.

Moreno plans to serve up different types of pastas with pesto or alfredo depending on the night. “It’s kind of a bar, but all the food will be our family recipes.”

The restaurant would be open after hours starting at 11 p.m. to “whenever.”

No word on when the restaurant would open quite yet, but for those in the mood to taste a little Moreno, he has his own flavor of Jelly Belly coming out in September based on his song “Tangerine Honey.”
