Public House Opens Just in Time for Monday Night Football

Now Vegas officially has two Public Houses, one from Block 16 Hospitality at the Venetian and the other opening today at the Luxor.

This new Public House clocks in as a 7,000-square-foot sports bar next the LAX Nightclub with American fare. The restaurant can accommodate 200 guests and another 50 in the bar with brick walls and a patriotic decor inside. The open floor plan has plenty of televisions including a 14-foot by 6-foot screen over the main bar.

Behind the two bars find 20 drafts and 40 craft beers with some twists on the usual bar food such as cheese steak spring rolls and Buffalo jumbo shrimp along with chicken wings and nachos.

Expect specials during sporting events. Tonight, Lorena Peril from Fantasy will perform the "National Anthem."

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sundays through Wednesdays, until 2 a.m. Thursdays and until 4 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
