Cherry Nightclub Shutters; Lavo's Brunch Returns

RED ROCK RESORT — Cherry Nightclub, which enjoyed a brief opening over the summer, has shut the front door permanently. [EaterWire]

PALAZZO — Lavo's Saturday Champagne Brunch returns on Oct. 13 with confetti showers, costumed hosts, gold painted dancers and DJ Jason Lema on the decks. More than 15 types of Champagne including a variety of large format bottles ranging from Magnums and Jeroboams all the way up to Nebuchadnezzars and 30-liter will keep the bottles popping. Look for white polenta pancakes with hazelnut butter, lemon ricotta waffles with glazed apples and a smoked salmon pizza make the menu. Brunch runs fro 2 to 6 p.m. Saturdays. [EaterWire]
