Celebrate the Mexican War of Independence on Sunday with food and drink specials galore up and down the Strip. Here are 12 ways to get the fiesta started.

What: Rhumbar celebrates Mexican Independence Day with a drink specials beginning Friday, Sept. 14, through Sunday, Sept. 16. What: The Red Rocker throws a Mexican Independence Day fiesta from Friday, Sept. 14, through Sunday, Sept. 16, with $25 buckets of Sol. Try the $55 "I Can't Drive 55" nacho challenge that includes eight pounds of nachos. If two guests complete the nachos on their own, they will receive them for free.

5. Chandelier Bar

What: The three-story bar hosts host one-of-a-kind beverage specials starting at 10 p.m. on Saturday. The cocktails will feature ingredients familiar to Mexico with an effervescent twist of the resort's mixology program. At 11 p.m., Cosmopolitan will ring in the official Grito Mexicano — a cry of patriotism — through a ceremonial ringing of the bell. Mariachis and dancers will surround The Chandelier. On Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., mariachi performers and folkloric dancers will entertain guests throughout the resort while a Mexican street fair will take place on P2 of the East Tower. The street fair will include various carts selling food and beverages as well as family-friendly activities like temporary tattooing, face-painting and candy sculpting.

What: The Mariachi Brunch features drink specials and live music on Sunday, Sept. 16., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with drink specials including two-for-one bloody Marias and margaritas as well as chef Saul Ortiz's breakfast items. The Mexican restaurant also will offer beer lovers Dos Equis for $5 and a bottle of Dos Equis Lager with a shot of Patron for $10 all day long. Tequila flights for $15 are featured from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a selection of tequilas including Jose Cuervo, Cabo Wabo, Don Julio, Avion and Patrón.
