Dal Toro Comes Close to a SNHD Shutdown

Dal Toro Ristorante, the Italian restaurant at the Palazzo that formerly had a Lamborghini theme, came within two points of being shut down by the Southern Nevada Health District after a routine inspection on Sept. 20.

Inspectors found that employees weren't properly washing their hands, foods weren't properly cooled and food wasn't protected from potential contamination among the violations.

Four previous inspections since 2008 merited A grades.

SNHD routinely shuts down restaurants that receive more than 40 demerits.
