Looks like construction on Thomas Keller's second Bouchon Bakery in Las Vegas is about to get going. This location, at the front of the Venetian next to Walgreens and under the bridge crossing over Las Vegas Boulevard from the Mirage, will be a full bakery with gelato on the second floor.
The new 540-square-foot space will serve as a bakery for the restaurant as well as show off Keller's interpretations of childhood sweets such as Nutter Butters and Ho-ho's.
The kiosk of Bouchon Bakery at the Venetian will remain. Keller also has Bouchon at the Venetian.
Keller anticipates opening in time for Thanksgiving and plans to return to debut the bakery.
