NORTHWEST — Marché Bacchus French Bistro and Wine Shop plans to host a wine dinner featuring a five-course tasting menu created by executive chef David Middleton paired with wines from Silver Oak Cellars and Twomey Cellars on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 6:30 p.m. The dinner goes for $98. SPRINGS PRESERVE — The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas has scheduled several Springs Cafe Cooking Workshops. The classes take place the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon. The first class on Jan. 19 covers gourmet vegetables, followed by a course on herbs on Feb. 16 and cooking with tomatoes on March 16.
