How close is Bradley Ogden to making his big return to Vegas? Very close.
Ogden confirmed that he is shopping for the right space off the Strip in Vegas. When asked about finding the right location, Ogden wrote, "It's definitely a possibility, will let you know soon."
His eponymous restaurant at Caesars Palace shut down Aug. 5 to make way for Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. Ogden is the only chef to win the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant in 2004 with a restaurant in Vegas. He was probably best known for Alan Richman crowning his burger the best burger of the year in 2009 in GQ. Other notable dishes included the twice-baked Maytag blue cheese soufflé, the seared diver scallops, the butterscotch pudding and the bananas Foster cake.
In October, he signed leases on three new restaurants in Houston. He plans to offer two casual chicken restaurants and a third, dubbed Ogden's Pub, with an extensive craft beer selection.
