The MGM Grand has been undergoing what it's calling the Grand Renovation are so comprehensive that the resort set up its own Website to tout the changes. Of course, the biggest change comes at the front of the MGM Grand where Hakkasan is building a five-story restaurant, nightclub and lounge in the former Studio 54 space. The 75,000-square-foot Hakkasan plans to open in April.

Michael Mina's Seablue closed in August to make way for 1842 Pub, a gastropub coming from Michael Mina. The still not officially announced restaurant will have Pullman booths and an elevated dining area in the lounge along with wooden stools circling the central bar and draft beer piped in from a new keg room.

But that doesn't mean the food and beverage changes are complete. A source close to the MGM Grand renovation project says that the former Lion's Den that houses the MGM lions will soon become an unnamed sports bar.

The source also says that the Rainforest Cafe that sits next to Hakkasan may change up too. The lease on the space expires at the end of 2013 and the restaurant may be split into several smaller venues.

Tabu will get a small facelift that makes it more open to the casino floor as well.
