A new sushi restaurant will try to lure customers from an adjacent naked attraction. Yellow Fin Sushi & Grill will open within the same building as the Sapphire gentleman's club, calculated to entice club guests with an extremely close dining option.
Zoning codes require the restaurant to be completely independent of the club, with no shared access and no adult themes permeating the space. However, in a presentation to the Clark County Planning Commission, a representative admitted the majority of guests will probably be Sapphire customers and Yellow Fin Sushi will not be marketed as a destination restaurant.
A publicly announced $290,000 budget has been allocated for the 4,162-square-foot venture that will include a bar inside the restaurant. Proposed opening hours of 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. will seek to match their neighbor's night-owl clientele. Sapphire bills itself as the world's largest gentleman's club at 71,000 square feet.
