Updates on Slice and Rachel's Kitchen at the Ogden

Slice, the Manhattan organic and vegan-friendly pizza joint from Miki Agrawal should be open within three months.

Attorney Todd Kessler updated the timetable before the Las Vegas City Council while representing Slice and the yet-to-be named inspirational lecture space and bar to be built on the ground floor of Downtown's Ogden condominium building. Both received approval for their Special Use Permits in the final hurdle of city construction approval.

Kessler gave no opening date for the Inspire bar, but noted that the third Rachel's Kitchen location was less than a month away from opening on the Las Vegas Boulevard side of the Ogden. Their 2,791-square-foot restaurant will seat 71 people with room for outdoor seating. And Kessler once again promised that Slice owner Agrawal will be playing ukulele as part of the frequent musical entertainment at her pizza palace.
