Bradley Ogden Does the Funky Chicken in Houston

Former Vegas chef Bradley Ogden's invasion of Houston begins with two new restaurants dubbed Funky Chicken and Bradley's Fine Diner. Eater Houston reports that the two restaurants, headed up by Ogden's son Bryan Ogden and managing partner Tony Angotti, will open in April or May.

Bradley's Fine Diner plans to be a more upscale concept with comfort foods for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Look for sliders made from eggplant, cod, grilled cheese and beef as well as a full bar and menu items under $20.

Funky Chicken will be far more casual with roasted and fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, salads, chicken pot pie and sides. Look for free range, organic and hormone free.

Ogden, whose eponymous restaurant at Caesars Palace closed last August to make way for Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, is shopping for locations off-Strip in Vegas. While he hasn't signed a lease yet, expect that announcement to come soon.
