The Color: While Comme Ça's wine list offers great bargain wines in the $50 to $99 range, one could spend nearly $15,000 on a single bottle of wine. Bruno recently had a diner who wanted to impress his guests with the highest Robert Parker score wines (RP) that Comme Ça had on their list. After a short discussion they decided on the following:
· 2007 Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux, $450 (two bottles), RP 93
· 2007 Clos de Tart Grand Cru Mommessin Monopole, $1,150, RP 93
· 1982 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, $4,250, RP 100
· 1986 Chateau Mouton-Rothschild, $3,500, RP 100
· 2001 Chateau D' Yquem, $2,500, RP 100

Each Parker point that evening was worth $25. They average ounce of wine was $80 and the average per guest was $2,000.
