Heads up, after hours fans. Drai's After Hours at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon throws its final bash this Sunday. The dive resort, and with it the nightclub, closes Monday for a major overhaul that includes a 65,000-square-foot rooftop pool, dayclub and nightclub.
The $185 million renovation is expected to take about a year to complete. Expect to find a second-floor restaurant when it reopens.
Nightclub developer Victor Drai's Drai Management Group, which operates Drai's After Hours, will manage the new club as well.
Drai's After Hours plans to find a temporary home at Bally's Indigo Lounge, recently vacated by resident performer Taylor Hicks, who moved to Napoleon's Dueling Piano Bar at Paris Las Vegas. The company already has a construction permit for a 6,367-square-foot space there with space for 200 to 300.
