Due Forni's New Happy Hour; Updated Menu at Joe's

SUMMERLIN — Due Forni Pizza & Wine now has a happy hour menu of appetizers priced at $5 each. Look for oven-baked goat cheese with bacon, apple, honey and toasted bread; duck confit over arugula with caramelized onions and ubriaco; pork belly with a smoked bacon polenta and red wine reduction; dates skewer with fontina and alto adige speck; turkey meatballs with tomato and parmesan; and braised oxtail served with gnocchi, cremini and parsley. The happy hour, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. daily, also features select wines for $5 per glass. [EaterWire]

FORUM SHOPS AT CAESARS — Joe's Stone Crab has some new dishes on the menu including Big Eye tuna tartar with lemon confit, shallots and fried capers and a Big Eye tuna filet served on a fried potato cake with a bordelaise sauce with bone marrow and portabella mushrooms. Beef short ribs also make the menu. New sides include celery root gratin and for dessert, butterscotch chiffon pie with a pecan shortbread crust and topped with homemade butterscotch sauce and whipped cream. [EaterWire]
