Stop the clock. The promised 45-day countdown for rocker Vince Neil to debut his new bar and restaurant at Circus Circus has been reset. The Mötley Crüe front-man had promised "Tatuado Bar B Q," in the 14,000-square-foot Rock & Rita's space would open today. But the rocker has been sharing a new project timetable and a new name. Vince Neil's Tatuado Eat, Drink, Party will now open at Circus Circus on Nov. 1.
Rock & Rita's has not responded to inquires by Eater Vegas about the upgrades. And a permit search of the property has yet to find evidence of the makeover.
In December 2012, Neil announced he was opening Wildside Saloon, a "Rock and Roll sports bar," at Hooters. He gave a thirty day timetable to opening day. After three months, with no evidence of construction at the resort, Hooters was nudged into explaining the project did not exist. His operational restaurant Vince Neil's Tatuado Restaurant & Cantina remains in business at LVH. It opened in June 2012 under the original name, Tres Rios.
