Fall Dishes at Due Forni; Rumtoberfest; Burgers & Beer

SUMMERLIN — Due Forni Pizza & Wine celebrates the beginning of autumn new dishes featured on a rotating schedule. Look for oven-roasted New York steak served with braised Brussels sprouts, parmigiano potato and red wine reduction, roasted cod served alongside zucchini and eggplant caponata, golden raisins, toasted pistachios and balsamic reduction and a rack of lamb with truffle-scented cauliflower puree, braised Swiss chard and lamb jus. Cremini mushroom soup, a truffle-scented cauliflower soup and an endive and radicchio salad make the menu along with a sugar apple cobbler and vanilla panna cotta for dessert. [EaterWire]

EASTSIDE — Every day in October, Bahama Breeze will be celebrating rum with Rumtoberfest. The month-long event includes a new specialty cocktail, the Curly Tail; flights of sipping rums; and a sweepstakes for five trips to the Bahamas. [EaterWire]

LAS VEGAS — Tomorrow Smashburger rolls out a new Beer and Burger Pairing Menu at all eight Southern Nevada locations, including its newest location that will open that same day at Ft. Apache and Tropicana. Smashburger is partnering with local brewer Joseph James Brewing Co. to match seven of its most popular burgers with craft beers. Look for the Classic Smash paired with the Craft American Lager, the Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger palling around with Red Fox Russian Imperial Stout and the BBQ, Bacon & Cheddar Burger partying with Citra Rye Pale Ale among the pairings.
