Now official word comes out that the restaurant formerly dubbed Project Lion will really and truly be called Crush Eat, Drink, Love, a name perhaps on the radar of Bravo, which had a reality show called Eat, Drink, Love starring Eater LA's Kat Odell. Of course, Motley Crue's Vince Neil has his Vince Neil's Tatuado Eat, Drink, Party coming to Circus Circus.

The $3 million remodeled restaurant takes over Michael Mina's former Nobhill Tavern space at the MGM Grand. Michael and Jenna Morton, who are behind La Cave at Wynn Las Vegas and La Comida in Downtown, plan to unveil their shared plate and wine menu in early December.

Jenna Morton describes Crush as "a place of indulgence. This is our tribute to the ancient ritual of communal feasting where dinner out is more than just about the food; it is a party," she says in a press release.

Executive chef William DeMarco from La Cave created the menu.

The 7,000-square-foot restaurant features two rooms with entryway that opens into a greenhouse garden while the lighting here emulates the movements of the sun. To the rear, a doorway leads to the dining cellar replete with a barrel-vault ceiling of white brick. The cellar also features a private dining room for 40 guests.

Some of the menu has already come out, featuring dishes such as shrimp risotto and a crudo with radish, champagne grapes and lemon as well as large plates such as chicken skewers with harissa and hummus, lamb sirloin with celery root puree and bacon Brussels sprouts and sea bass. Some of the desserts includes a Nutella caramel ice cream sandwich, a chocolate and raspberry terrine and fresh berry crepe served with balsamic ice cream.

The restaurant plans to be open lunch and dinner.
